Christmas is a magical time on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Richard Elliott, Principal Organist at the world-famous Mormon Tabernacle adds to that magic with his creative organ solos that have become a highlight the the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's annual Christmas concerts. Shepherds' Dance, performed on the 2011 Christmas concert, is based on the traditional French carol, "Shepherds, Shake Off Your Drowsy Sleep!" and quotes "Bring a Torch, Jeanette, Isabella," "While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks," and "Sheep May Safely Graze".
